There are several purposes of this blog.
I will use this blog to keep students and parents informed of the different things happening in our classroom (e.g., assignments, tests, marks, school events etc.)
As students, you will use this blog to:
- read for the purpose of understanding
- practice narrative and persuasive writing
- share your thinking, ideas, opinions, and points of view on a topic
- encourage others by providing thoughtful and constructive feedback
- reflect and evaluate your own learning etc.
As parents, you may use this blog to:
- see evidence of student work
- keep track of what students are learning about
- encourage students by providing thoughtful and constructive feedback
